Our newly adapted KTEP St. Jude kindergarten had its blessing last Saturday, June 18, 2011. At around 9:30 in the morning children with their parents together with the kindergarten teachers Mrs. Rosario Marie Pondoyo
and Mrs. Virginia Isabida and their assistants were falling in line outside holding flowers and garlands to welcome the visitors. When the visitors arrived they were surprised to see lots of children. The children were so excited to give their presents. Aside from flowers our dear kindergarten parents also brought fruits as present to the visitors.
Our very special guests Ms. Karla
and Mr. Simon Woyte were invited to do the honor of ribbon-cutting at the main entrance of the small kindergarten building. During the short program after the blessing rites, Mrs. Toledo the kindergarten president gave the welcome remarks. Right after the presentations, oath taking of officers was then followed.
Mr. Simon Woyte gave an inspirational talk where he shared to us the story about the two potatoes “the educated
and the non-educated one” a very simple story but truly real and ideal one. A short program ended with picture-takings.
Once again, our very big thanks to Ms. Karla Hunger
and Mr. Simon Woyte for being part of this very special event.
