We still remember December 2011, when the last dentist Dr. Georg Lilly had his successful dental mission in Toril. Again this year, another German dentist came to give his dental service for free. Dr. Ephraim Nold with his long time girlfriend Kathrin Schad arrived in Davao last August 14, 2014.
Together with our local dentist Dr. Roslyn Tamay, Dr. Nold started his mission on August 15 and lasted until 27…

For seven days, free dental accommodated about 166 patients to be exact, 320 teeth pulled out and 45 patients were entertained for filling.

And because they have worked a lot for the project and sacrificed their holiday for the sake of our needy fellowmen, they truly deserved the party we prepared for them. This is one way we could extend our sign of gratitude for the time and effort they have exerted.

The mission was indeed a big help to many who can hardly afford to go to the dentist for a regular dental check-up. Toothless they may become now but they can enjoy the freedom from pain.
No one is more cherished in this world than someone who lightens the burden of another.
